It's good to see that such support is appreciated. Reaktor is an incredible software tool for building software instruments out of individual components, and then assembling the perfect ensemble of instruments for performance. It has been an essential part of my tool-kit for many years. But when I was first looking for such a tool, more than a decade ago, Reaktor was far superior in terms of its interface and usability, while Max had the edge in terms of programmability and hardware interfaces.

The new Maschine expansions seem to now need Reaktor 6 which is understandable as its the newest version so I might install the Reaktor 6 player for now until either I feel the need to purchase Reaktor 6 full version or maybe if a Komplete 11 comes our way with Reaktor 6 bundled fingers crossed then that would probably be the best value way to go. I am actually totally new to Maschine, Komplete etc and have a lot of learning to do so will tinker around with Reaktor 5 for now and keep my eye out on the NI offers.
For those purposes, there really aren't any important differences in the GUI, my favorite being the new expandable snap panel allowing for longer snap names! But I totally encourage any and everyone to upgrade…AND to keep 5 around after they do. From down here, it all looks pretty expert to me. Didn't actually say "expert" that I can see, but far be it from me to cause any cringing! So, OK, a hacker, but certainly a "senior" one Still, I'd not hesitate to call upon your expertise in Reaktor, and on all that allowed you to create the Superformula, etc, etc, etc,… 90 UL entries?
But, yeah, get 6! I held off for a long while waiting for K11, but couldn't manage that and went for it eventually on its own.
